About the role

We are seeking a research associate to contribute to a programme of work within the Obesity theme of University College London Hospitals Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) that focuses on experimental medicine. The present scope of the theme includes investigation of ‘lifestyle’ for disease prevention, particulary physical activity behaviour.

The post holder will undertake a series of studies to develop novel approaches for promoting lifestyle physical activity.

About you

The right candidate is expected to have experience in developing and implementing physical activity interventions using behaviour change techniques and digital health approaches. Experience in physical activity measurement, wearables, public engagement and mixed methods approaches is desirable. Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams across clinical and academic settings will constitute an advantage.

The post holder must have a higher academic degree Masters degree or evidence of an equivalent level of attainment in research publications. PhD, or evidence of an equivalent level of attainment in research publications is advantageous.
