Shift: Monday toFriday 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute experiments necessary todevelop or optimize cell culture media and growth supplements forprimary cells and cell lines.
- Priorexperience with T cells NK cells and other primary cell types ispreferred.
- Maintain precise records andorganize records of experiments. Analyze and report on data thatare generated.
- Utilize perfect aseptictechnique and display expertise in handling primary cells and celllines.
- Execute chemical characterizationassays including solubility pH osmolality and others.
- Design and execute analytical and cell culturebasedfunctionality testing including cell growth assay for a variety ofcell culture media.
- Produce smallscale mediabatches for internal testing including formulating complete mediafrom various recipe formats converting from molarity to g/L andvice versa.
- Troubleshoot experiment resultsfor cells and media raw materials media formulation product storageand QC assays.
- Maintain stocks of chemicalsreagents and supplies in the laboratory ordering and trackingmaterials as required.
Required Skills
- Masters Degree in Biology Chemistry or relateddiscipline.
- B.S. degree with 5 10 years ofrelevant industrial experience.
- Must havestrong cell culture experience.
- 35years experience working with primary cells and TCells with aminimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in theindustry
- Someone who can handle thecultures carefully and appropriately
- Significant knowledge of aseptic cell culturetechniques basic biology chemistry mathematicalcalculations statistical analysis technical writing and laboratoryequipment is required.
- Computer literateincluding but not limited to SAP and MS Office.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
