About the role

The postholder will work closely with the academic project lead and partner organisation the postholder for the project and will be responsible for conducting interviews, organising roundtable meetings, and writing up findings, as well as contributing to overall project management
and delivery.

This is a fixed term contract for 11 months available from 1st November to 30th June on a part time basis and is offered at Gr6, pt25, £38, per annum pro rata including London Allowance.

About you

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and proactive individual with a postgraduate degree in Business, Social Entrepreneurship, Economics or a related social science discipline. The ideal applicant will have an interdisciplinary understanding of business ownership structures and legal forms ( co-operatives, employee ownership, B-Corp, social enterprises) and have a grasp of current debates in political-economic thinking ( green new deal).

The individual will understand the UK regulatory environment and the various business structures codified under UK law. The ability to conduct qualitative research is essential. The postholder will engage with key stakeholders such as social entrepreneurs and impact investors and will therefore require strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will have confidence and the ability to communicate research scope, findings and outputs in both an academic and commercial context.

The successful candidate will have project management skills with the ability to work independently and to meet objectives and deadlines.
