Research Assistant / Scientist - Cell Culture
Biotalent are collaborating with a pioneering drug discovery company. Their mission is to develop transformative treatments that harness the power of the immune system to combat cancer. Due to growth, we are seeking two motivated cell biologists at Research Assistant and Scientist level to join their dynamic team.
The role is based in South West London, with expectations to be on site 5 days a week.
Responsibilities:
Conduct cell culture experiments, focusing on cancer cell lines.
Perform biochemical assays, including Western Blot (WB), DNA extraction, and PCR.
Analyse and interpret experimental data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance research projects.
You will participate in meetings with the Principal Scientist , CSO and VP of Drug Discovery.
Requirements:
Education: BSc, MSc or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Immunology or a related field.
Technical Experience: Proficiency in cell culture techniques (mammalian cell culture) and biochemical assays.
Industry Experience: Previous experience in drug discovery setting within a pharma/CRO or Biotech. Working on cancer biology projects is ideal but not necessary.
