Job Title: Research Assistant
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: London
This role is perfect for a motivated, detail-oriented candidate looking to progress quickly in a career in markets and investing. You’ll work directly with senior analysts and editors to easy-to-understand, bite-sized educational, and insightful investing and markets content.
You’ll also get involved with the research, analysis and processes that allow our team to produce world-class content every day, and do work that involves our product, growth, sales, and community teams.
You’ll work closely with senior analysts and editors to support research, analysis, writing, and editing processes and projects
You’ll take on direct responsibility for ongoing and ad hoc processes as required
You’ll respond to research briefs from senior analysts with high-quality, insightful, and analytical research to inform their analysis
You’ll keep up with industry trends to ensure content is relevant and forward-thinking
You’ll progress onto taking ownership of content from conception to publication, sometimes to challenging deadlines
About the candidate requirements
To be successful in this role you will need (minimum experience/ requirements)
Good experience in financial services, in a markets-focused role
Strong research abilities and a familiarity with financial data and industry sources
Native-level written communication skills in English
Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
The ability to operate with and keep to tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills with a mindset for collaboration

Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in content SEO and artificial intelligence (direct experience is a bonus)
A willingness to take on a lot of work in a fast-paced start-up environment and adapt to the news flow
