We are looking to hire a self-motivated and organised research assistant to join the Ochre Bio team in Oxford on an exciting journey to support the development of advanced RNA medicines for one of the most pressing healthcare challenges of our time - chronic liver disease.

Ochre’s Oxford site encompasses both biology and chemistry labs, with the teams working alongside each other to identify targets and generate siRNA based therapeutics for assessment in complex tissue models, at our Taipei site, and in organ models, at our NY perfusion lab.

Within Ochre’s biology team you will support our scientists in generating data in primary cellular models, to help identify gene targets for future drug development, and will support the chemistry teams efforts to generate optimised therapeutics. Additional activities include but are not limited to curating, plating and feeding cells as well as running endpoint assays to allow the scientists to focus on the science. You will also support our laboratory manager to maintain the smooth running of the lab, including reagent, equipment and inventory management.
