Research Associate - Internship to Permanent (Entry Level)

Taylor Osborne partner with organisations to provide Executive Search, Talent Insight & Mapping, and Market Research. We provide a global perspective on leadership talent, hiring from different locations and industry sectors.


Our team is headquartered in the UK, with colleagues in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the US. Working on diverse projects, often with challenging requirements, across multiple functions and levels within EMEA, US, Asia Pac, LATAM and the Middle East.


We currently have a 6 month internship with the opportunity to go permanent within our team.


The role will be supporting searches across target candidate groups and will be responsible for building long lists, research, and candidate attraction. You will also play a key part in the initial assessment of candidates.


This internship would suit a recent graduate looking to build their career in executive search and develop their professional work experience by joining a small but rapidly growing business working in the recruitment of senior executives across multiple sectors and geographies.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support the process of headhunting appropriate candidates.
  • Build robust target lists of candidates for retained and exclusive searches.
  • Provide senior management with relevant and timely reports on both candidates and target industries.
  • Manage a portfolio of searches at any one time effectively.
  • Make contact with potential candidates who appear suitable on paper via telephone and email to pre-screen and qualify they meet the basic requirements.
  • Source senior people within the market to obtain recommendations of suitable candidates in the marketplace.
  • Help research and prepare proposals for new projects.
  • Ensure all work and assignments are delivered with a high level of accuracy in information.
  • Support the business and the team where necessary.


Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

  • A high level of written English and the ability to prioritise workload with a high level of efficiency and accuracy throughout.
  • A proactive attitude towards challenging tasks.
  • An organised and diligent approach to research work.
  • Tenacity and drive to develop a highly successful career.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • We are looking for a vibrant individual, who has a strong ability to build credible relationships and is comfortable dealing with individuals.
  • You will possess initiative, creativity, determination, and inquisitive attributes.
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Preferred degrees include Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology, HR, Marketing and Business.
  • No previous experience required as we will provide training.
  • Unfortunately we can not support a visa.
