Research Associate

Group Strategy is currently seeking a Research Associate based out of our London office.

The Group Strategy team supports Fitch Group CEO and the leadership team in developing the long-term strategic direction of the company by providing relevant analysis and insights in support of decision-making. The team acts as an internal consulting arm for the businesses within Fitch Group, providing strategic advisory on a variety of areas across the organisation.

  • We’ll Count on You To:

  • Own and independently run aspects of monthly and quarterly reporting for senior management, striving to simplify and improve existing processes where possible
  • Clean and analyse large data sets and perform quality checks
  • Work alongside technical colleagues in the development of Business Intelligence (BI) tools through quality assurance and support in the gathering of business requirements
  • Provide user support for a suite of BI dashboards
  • Support senior team members with project work as needed – this may include desk-based research, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, market and competitive landscape assessments
  • What You Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, economics, or similar analytical field
  • Some professional experience ideally within financial services or consulting environment
  • Strong analytical skills – extensive experience and interest in working with data
  • Critical thinking and ability to tackle complex problems in a structured manner
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
