Role Overview

We have an opportunity for someone to join our team to lead our Global Syndicated Immunology business. To be successful in this position, you will have to demonstrate leadership behaviors to drive the growth of this business unit that encompasses a portfolio of solutions across Immunology and ophthalmology therapy indications.

The role will involve identifying opportunities, setting up, running and delivering research projects to our clients (pharmaceutical and small biotechs). This will be done with the aid of an existing team of researchers (split between the US, London and KL).

What Will I be doing?

Team Leadership:

  • To ensure the team is fully supported, working effectively together and providing the highest level of service to our client base
  • To provide mentorship to the team
  • To provide team members opportunities to grow and that will benefit the business
  • Promote Ipsos values & policies across the team
  • Client Management:

  • Responsible for all client relationships and lead client discussions, especially for new studies, new business & new clients (with the support of the business)
  • Be visible with clients, be seen and recognised as a therapy area expert
  • Ensure clients are happy with the quality and level of service they are receiving
  • Ensure we maintain and grow our subscription business with key client base
  • Responsible for growing strong relationships beyond main client contact; engaging other within the client organisation
  • Provide high level strategic consultation to clients
  • Business Development:

  • Responsible for identifying and securing new business (pipeline analysis, therapy knowledge, client engagement)
  • Lead in preparing proposals, pitches and costings
  • Expand existing suite of offerings
  • Work collaboratively across syndicated and custom teams within Ipsos, building knowledge of what Ipsos has available 
  • New Product Development

  • Design the new studies
  • Develop a clear launch plan working with marketing
  • Full P+L responsibility

  • Delivering on the financial performance of the team (both revenue and profit) Maintaining and growing existing subscription business
  • Launching and establishing new studies into profit
  • Stabilizing and managing the team
  • What will I need to bring?

  • Sufficient relevant healthcare experience
  • Strong business development and client management skills
  • Ability to think innovatively to create new offerings
  • Ability to translate clients’ business needs into effective solutions
  • Strong knowledge of Market Research Approaches – including quant, qual, syndicated, passive
  • Ability to work with global teams and adapt offerings for different local nuances
  • Strong knowledge of specific therapy areas is beneficial (Immunology)
  • Overall expert understanding of healthcare market from clinical development through commercialization and lifecycle management
