Research Engineer on SLAM and Photogrammetry Remote or Hybrid

Cintoo Cloud improves the performance and efficiency with a complete cloudbased collaborative Scan & BIM platform to manage and distribute Reality Capture data such as laser scans with no compromise on accuracy. We are seeking a talented and passionate Researcher on SLAM and Photogrammetry for a permanent position (CDI).
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and optimize advanced SLAM algorithms (simultaneous localization and mapping) to accurately and efficiently estimate pose and create detailed maps of the surrounding environment using 360 videos and images.
- Design implement and optimize applications for 3D reconstruction from 360degree images using photogrammetry techniques.
- Analyse and optimize the performance of these solutions.
- Collaborate with the other developers to deliver coherent and robust products.
- Stay informed of the latest advancements in the field of 3D data processing contributing innovative ideas and approaches to address complex challenges.
Requirements:
- Engineer or equivalent degree in Computer science or a related field with a focus on 3D data processing and point cloud processing.
- Expertise in SLAM state estimation image stitching stereo imagery LIDAR and other 3D sensing capabilities.
- Proficient in programming languages especially C and Python.
- Familiarity with relevant libraries frameworks and tools in the field of 3D computer graphics and computational geometry.
- Willing to learn and progress.
- Selfreliance innovative spirit team player.
- Good level in English
Appreciated skills:
- Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Computer Vision or a related field.
- Understanding and knowledge of algorithms founded on mathematical methods.
- Experience in developing production ready code (versioning clean code unit tests etc.).

Remuneration according to profile. Work permit in France is mandatory. Working remotely from anywhere in France is possible but hybrid is preferred.
