Research Engineer – 2D/3D Reconstruction (Diffusion Modelling/NeRF)

London (hybrid)

£100-150k base + equity


We are seeking a talented and motivated Research Engineer with expertise in 2D or 3D Reconstruction to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a background in diffusion modelling or NeRF (Neural Radiance Fields) , with strong experience in either 2D or 3D applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize cutting-edge algorithms for 2D or 3D reconstruction .
  • Conduct research on diffusion modelling or NeRF , contributing to innovative advancements in the field.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new methods into existing workflows.
  • Stay current with the latest research trends and advancements in 2D/3D reconstruction and related technologies.
  • Design and execute experiments to test, validate, and improve reconstruction models.


Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in either 2D or 3D reconstruction techniques.
  • Strong background in diffusion modelling or NeRF .
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar .
  • Familiarity with relevant tools and libraries, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow , and 3D geometry libraries.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning and computer vision concepts.
  • Ability to independently drive research projects and collaborate in a team environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with real-world applications of 2D or 3D reconstruction .
  • Strong publication record in relevant fields.
  • Familiarity with rendering techniques and 3D visualization tools .
