MBN Solutions have been retained by this company to bring on board an experienced Research Manager to join their Digital Twin Research Group. They are are committed to combining research and innovation to transform businesses, lives and society.

The Job:
- You will manage a team of researchers, while interacting with the large global Research team, all with diverse skills, developing our federation technologies with a particular focus on creating systems of federated digital twins.
- Lead end-to-end technical implementation of Digital Twin for real-world applications
- Manage a team of researchers with various technical expertise
- Lead use case develop and propose new research topics from interactions while solving real societal challenges
- Collaborate with internal global partners and external partners on federated digital twins
The output of your research is expected to be both published at top conferences and contribute to the global businesses.
The Person:
- Deep technical understanding of good software design / development
- Extensive experience in wide range of technologies from digital twin, AI, IoT and associated architecture
- Hands on experience in end-to-end software integration
- Extensive experience in leading external R&D collaboration and proof-of-concept
- Experience (>3 years) in managing a research team
Demonstrated expertise:
- A Post-Graduate qualification (preferably PhD) in a relevant field, with a strong research component
- Ability to publish peer-reviewed research papers and to file patent proposals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to propose research topics and associated plan by exploring potential future business opportunities
