We are expanding our product offering and have vacancies for bright, hardworking and tenacious researchers to work across The Legal 500 series.


Applicants must have an excellent command of spoken and written English and must be able to manage time effectively and work to deadlines. Knowledge of the legal sector is preferable but not essential. Much of the law covered by The Legal 500 guides around the world is commercial so an interest in business and the City would be helpful. Person specification

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written and in person/on the phone
  • An energetic self-starter
  • Ability to build relationships across the business with internal stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills


Key responsibilities

  • To gather details of law firms' and barristers’ chambers' recent work, through the collection of written submissions and interviews with senior-level lawyers and barristers
  • To obtain opinions on the quality of law firms' and barristers’ chambers' work from their clients
  • To assess and benchmark firms and chambers by practice area and country
  • To write comprehensive, in-depth analysis of the leading law firms and barristers’ chambers in certain key practice areas
  • Ability to build a rapport / relationships with law firms and barristers’ chambers at BD and partner level
