About the role

We are seeking to appoint a FTE Clinical Psychologists to work as Senior Clinical Tutor and Intermidiate Level Systemic Pathway Clinical Tutor Lead. As far as possible, the postholders are also expected to maintain a clinical role within the NHS or a similar organisation. The postholders will be committed to developing and promoting the profession of Clinical Psychology within the NHS.

The successful applicants will be based within the Clinical Tutor Team. The postholder will be the Intermdiate Level Systemic Pathway Clinical Tutor Lead. As a Senior Clinical Tutor they will support and manage the substantial clinical practice component of the UCL Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, within the structure provided by UCL DClinPsy Course Regulations and HCPC and BPS accreditation criteria, as well as making a major contribution to the academic programme.

About you

You will have a Doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology, registration with the HCPC, and at least Intermediate Level (ideally Qualifying Level) AFT accredited training. Experience of clinical supervision of Trainee Clinical Psychologists and of working in an NHS setting as a Clinical Psychologist, with experience and specialist knowledge of systemic clinical practice. High quality teaching and presentation skills, and knowledge of contemporary Clinical Psychology.

What we offer

Grade 8/SP 38-44. The salary range will be £51,-£60, per annum, inclusive of London Allowance, plus market supplement (£11,) pro rata.
