Head of Research - AI for 4G/ 5G/ 5G+ network modelling and optimisation  

I am seeking an esteemed Head of Research in the field of AI for 4G/ 5G/ 5G+ network modelling and optimisation.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of relevant research experience in academia and/ or industry and is comfortable leading research teams in algorithm design and development for data-driven AI models in large-scale systems.
This is a full-time position on-site in Paris, perfect for a confident research lead looking to work on ground-breaking technology.

Primary Responsibilities

  • As Head of Research, you will provide technical leadership to the team in large-scale network modelling and optimisation research.
  • Craft data-driven AI solutions for 4G/ 5G/ 5G+ network modelling and optimisation.
  • Propose AI technologies and create architecture for constructing network AI models based on vast data from worldwide cellular networks.
  • Resolve intricate mathematical problems stemming from real-world networks based on AI technology, telecommunications expertise, operations research, data science, and applied mathematics. Essential Experience
    • PhD in Computer Science/ Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Operations Research, or related fields.
    • 8+ years of research experience with an esteemed reputation in academia or industry.
    • Successful track record of publications in top AI conferences and/ or IEEE Transactions.Desired Experience
      • Background in wireless network communication research.
      • Previous experience as Head of Research / Director of Research / Lead ResearcherWhat's on offer?

        Salary €100,000 - €140,000 with flexibility for the right candidate.
