Teacher Education Lecturer Salary: £29,820 - £36,749 per annum (pro-rated for part time) Contract: Permanent Location: Sheffield Hours: 18.5 hours per week x 52 weeks per year We are a further and higher education institution dedicated to providing academic, vocational, and professional qualifications to approximately 13,000 young people and adults annually. Our mission is to transform lives through learning, advocating for inclusivity and diversity at every step.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly inspirational and experienced Lecturer in teacher education, to join our teaching team within UC Sheffield. We require someone who is passionate about teaching and learning to enable high achieving classroom-based learning to both internal and external candidates to achieve their potentialKey Responsibilities Teaching, Learning & Assessment of Education & Training DiplomasManaging classroom and learner behaviours including attendanceInternal and external moderation sampling, along with award board participationInspire the next generation or teachers to plan, prepare and enable them to be successfulDeliver a suite of City & Guilds (Level 3, 4 & 5) in Education and TrainingSome leadership and administration roles will be requiredSkills & KnowledgeWe strive to be an inclusive employer and welcome applications from individuals who believe they can contribute effectively to this role.
