Part time – 22.5 hours per week – Permanent 

£20,092.20 – £23,964.60 per annum (pro rata to the full time equivalent of £33,487.00 – £39,941.00 per annum)

  • The role;
    Within this position you will be responsible for the delivery and training of Veterinary courses and the development of learners skills and knowledge to access the Veterinary Industry. Reporting directly to the Head of School for Animal and Welfare, you will be responsible for the delivery of both practical and theory Veterinary courses and will be working directly with learners aged 16 – 18 years during their time in the college. 

    The person;
    We are therefore seeking individuals with experience working within the Veterinary industry that has knowledge, skills and experience with a range of veterinary practices. This person will be upbeat, motivated and inspiring in order to educate learners to high standards and provide support to individuals within their studies and taking the first steps into the Veterinary world. 

    Have you got what it takes?

  • A degree level qualification in a relevant field or to be a registered veterinarian/ Veterinary nurse 
  • A teaching qualification – Desirable but not essential 
  • Extensive experience working within the veterinary industry 
  • Any experience tutoring or training learners within veterinary practices
