Associate Lecturer – Fine Art / Fine Art with Psychology

The University of Worcester BA (Hons) Fine Art, BA (Hons) Fine Art with Psychology, are seeking to expand their current pool of Associate Lecturers to contribute to teaching. 

Successful candidates will have specialist knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas: 

  • Arts and Health
  • Art and Psychology
  • Studio Skills/Studio Thinking
  • Participatory Arts
  • We particularly welcome applications from early-career practitioners working and researching in any area of fine art and psychology practice who are demonstrably engaged with international discourses informing contemporary art and design. 

    Applicants should have experience in teaching fine art and art & design, art & psychology at degree or PG level and an ability to teach students, from the perspective of their individual, emerging practices and to support their progress through, for example, web-sites, seminars, group crit’s, feedback, assessment and group projects. It is an expectation that applicants will also be engaged in the role of theory and criticality in the development of practice.

    NB. If you are successful at interview you will be invited to join a pool of sessional lecturers and we will contact you if suitable work becomes available. We are not able to guarantee employment as it will be subject to student numbers. The number of hours available might only be a few hours per week.
