Based within the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences on the World Heritage site at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, you will be part of an expansion of our world-leading Multi-Disciplinary and Multi-Scale Modelling team. Joining the Expanding Excellence in England (E3) funded, M34Impact project you will contribute to tackling major societal challenges affecting the environment, quality of life, safety, security, and the economy.

In this role you will strengthen the Digital Cities (DC) theme of M34Impact, bringing a capacity to conduct high quality research in the area of the urban environment, net zero and associated quality of life. In its nature, the role involves a highly collegiate approach and close collaboration with the other M34Impact themes of Safety and Security, and Materials Science and Engineering. You will aspire to progress to a strategic leadership position within M34Impact, achieving a range of outcomes in academic research, enterprise activities, and knowledge exchange.
