Working with a global leader in the comsumer electronics space, we're actively in the market for O-RAN Researcher within the organisations Advanced Network Research Group,

Role and Responsibilities

The main tasks you are expected to perform include, but are not limited to:

Innovate, develop, and demonstrate state-of-the-art AI solutions for a well-defined problem under the contexts of O-RAN and xApps.

Deliver the solution in form of software proof-of-concept.

Actively engage with colleagues internally and partners externally and adapt the solutions to fit into project requirements.

Provide reports and documentation as required in the project.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential skills are:

PhD degree in Wireless Communications, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related disciplines (an equivalent period of industrial experience may be substituted).

Demonstrated hands-on experience in designing and integrating AI solutions into the network, preferably O-RAN

Proficiency in problem solving and debugging

Excellent communication, teamwork and a results-oriented attitude

Desirable skills include:

Experience with Open source

Experience with delivering publications and IPRs
