Electrical Installation Lecturer

Permanent, Full-time hours 

£27,425 - £40,369 (based on experience and qualifications)

Seeking an interpersonal and self-motivated candidate with Electrical Installations industry experience to join the Department of Construction. This exciting role will involve the design and delivery of the Electrical Installations courses to a wide range of learners, in both practical and theoretical settings. The job role will also include contributing to the continued development of the department, providing tutorial support for learners, and carrying out the associated administrative tasks connected with the post.

The requirements: 

  • Electrical Installations qualifications to at least Advanced Craft/NVQ level 3. 
  • Hold a Certificate in Education/PGCE/ DTLLS or Assessors qualification. 
  • Substantial, recent and relevant industrial experience. 
  • Recent experience of Lecturing or training others in the workplace.
  • In-depth knowledge of the current Electrical Installations curriculum requirements.
  • Hold a DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one).
