To accomplish our mission, we are looking for a Senior  Executive Researcher (d/f/m)  in  London or Düsseldorf.

You primarily focus on proactive candidate engagement with a view to build our representation at leadership level, specifically women in leadership. Your deep market knowledge and ability to connect with senior professionals sets you apart and represents the organisation with thought leaders across sales, marketing and tech.

Working closely with the Leadership Recruiter and the People Partner to align with the business and organisational talent strategy you advise on the market and share insights on all aspects of talent. You are sought out in the organisation to provide an external perspective and are adept at working in a matrix environment to provide guidance and work in partnership across the People team.

Your responsibilities:

  • Candidate sourcing and engagement:  you utilise your network, commercial acumen and market insights to identify and engage with candidates on the market. You ensure that we have representative long and short lists and are able to coach peers and leaders on DEI talent strategy.
  • Community creation and succession planning:  You build a talent community for The Stepstone Group through creative and level appropriate engagement including leadership ‘tech talks’, dinners and event engagement. You support our leaders to build networks and communities and coach them through their own engagement techniques. You partner across our People Partner and Learning & Development team to take an active role in succession planning of both internal and external talent.
  • Talent insights:  You have the ability to build research papers and insights on the talent in sales and/or tech in your market and across the EMEA region.
  • Working in a matrix environment:  You engage at all levels of the organisation, in partnership across the People team to enable the talent agenda and ensure we are presenting both an internal and external perspective of talent.
  • Data Management and Reporting:  You love data and provide insights and leadership updates on a regular basis
  • Qualifications

  • Inhouse or agency leadership hiring  and/or research experience preferred
  • Communication skills : you communicate clear and concise to convey job details, company culture and expectations accurately.
  • Analytical thinking:  you analyze data, market trends, and candidate profiles to make informed decisions. You evaluate candidate qualifications, assess fit for specific roles, and optimize sourcing strategies.
  • Research skills:  you effectively identify and engage with potential candidates, utilizing various online platforms, databases, and search techniques.
  • Boolean Search Techniques:  Crucial for refining search queries. You conduct targeted candidate searches across various platforms and databases.
  • Candidate Screening:  you screen profiles based on job requirements, skills, experience, values
  • Language Skills:  you are fluent in German and English
