Protocol are working with an established Further Education College who are actively looking for a Permanent, part time English lecturer in the Berkshire area.
Salary
£29,000 - £36,000
Job Type: 37 Hours per week, 52 Weeks per year, Full time, Permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- To teach on a range of programmes, providing high quality learning opportunities that meet the needs of individual students/apprentices and groups in line with the College’s strategic priorities and objectives.
- To provide flexible assessment opportunities and closely plan, monitor, track and record student/apprentice retention, achievement and success.
- To contribute to the development and delivery of high quality, relevant curriculum and programmes. Curriculum Development.
To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant area
- Experience of teaching GCSE English Language
- Ability to teach mainstream and adult students
- Teaching Qualification in a relevant subject (QTS/QTLS)
- Ability to meet targets within set timescales
- Ability to work well in teams but also to work independently, with the minimum of supervision
