Are you passionate about teaching and eager to make an impact on people's lives? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our supportive and dedicated ESOL team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on helping learners achieve their goals and integrating into society while gaining a deeper understanding of diverse cultures.

As a Lecturer in ESOL, you will teach on a range of courses from Pre-Entry to Level 1. You will either have a good understanding of or a willingness the ESOL curriculum and be experienced in using appropriate teaching strategies to support learning.

We are looking for someone who is dedicated, keen to upskill, committed to reflective continuous improvement and a good team player who is willing to share ideas. You will also have a commitment to promoting diversity and supporting learners.

As a Lecturer in ESOL, you should have:

  • GCSE A* - C in Maths and English qualifications or equivalent (new grading 9-4) as a minimum
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area (desirable)
  • Level 5 subject specialism (desirable)
  • PGCE (desirable)
  • You should also be able to demonstrate:

  • An up-to-date knowledge of the ESOL curriculum
  • Knowledge of the principles of teaching, learning and assessment
  • The ability to communicate to a diverse range of people at all levels, verbally and in writing
