Job Title: Lecturer in Music (Grade 8, 0.6 FTE)

The University of Salford, with a diverse student population of over 27,000 and a global network of 200,000 alumni, is seeking a Lecturer in Music to join the School of Arts, Media, and Creative Technology. This school is renowned for its practice-based education in creative disciplines.

The Lecturer in Music will be part of the Directorate of Music, which encompasses various undergraduate, foundation, master\'s, and doctoral programs. The directorate specializes in band musicianship, popular music, and music technology, serving over 500 students. This role involves teaching and coordinating modules in popular music performance, music theory, and composition. Additional skills in performance utilizing technology, arranging, and improvisation are desirable.
