About you
We are seeking an innovative researcher to appoint to a full-time lectureship before or at the beginning of September . Applicants must answer research questions of relevance to a humanities discipline, by applying or developing technological solutions in an interdisciplinary way. This may include approaches such as but not limited to software development (Python, R), front-end development (JavaScript), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), 3D modelling, Geographic Information Science (GIS), text analysis/corpus linguistics, digitisation, or emerging interdisciplinary technological areas. The purpose of the research should be to contribute new interdisciplinary knowledge relevant to a humanities domain. The teaching focus will be on Masters level teaching within the MA and MSc Digital Humanities programmes. The candidate will also be required to lead on a new technical project module. The successful candidate will also be expected to supervise research students and Masters and undergraduate dissertations and undertake academic related administrative duties.
