We are looking for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join our BA (Hons) Design for Theatre & Screen course at University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, Surrey.
We are looking for someone who can build on and help expand our current teaching provision and our practice/research environment. We are seeking a talented individual from within the field of design for theatre and screen, who is passionate about their specialist area, questioning and inventive in their approach to teaching and who would also enjoy working collaboratively to contribute to broader team-taught modules. We are specifically looking for an individual who has the practical skills, knowledge and experience to work with our students to expand their knowledge and skills in communicating design ideas and solutions using both traditional and digital techniques, including drafting/modelling.
It is expected that you will have experience of teaching at university level, or commensurate experience. We are looking for an innovative and inclusive approach to the teaching of design for theatre and screen, and you should be able to demonstrate an awareness of contemporary critical issues in the field globally. You must evidence a commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and widening participation in teaching, research, and university life.
The actual salary for this role is £31, - £43, per annum. (Job share or reduced fractions will be considered).
