Job description

The Faculty of Life Sciences and Education, Health and Social Care subject area, is seeking to appoint a Lecturer to join the existing dynamic and constantly developing Social Work/Health & Social Care team at USW. This contribution will span delivery of a range of modules, supporting students including via the management of a personal tutorial group, working with a range of colleagues and supporting a range of associated administrative processes associated with the delivery of a high-quality student experience supporting the progress of students through their course.

The post holder will work across and support the teaching, assessment and student support across our Social Work / Health & Social Care degree programs. We are looking for someone who has experience and understanding of social work/ health and social care practice and is able to effectively co-ordinate, teach, and support our student learners to achieve in a constantly changing HE environment.

The university is currently operating a hybrid-model of working. However, the successful candidate would be expected to work on campus for part of the week. This is a full-time permanent post.
