Legal Recruitment Researcher - Join a Premier Legal Search Firm

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Researcher to join one of the most established and prestigious legal recruitment consultancies. This role offers an opportunity to work with leading law firms and in-house legal departments worldwide, helping to identify and attract exceptional legal talent.

About the Role

This is a 180 delivery role working closely with their senior legal recruitment consultants, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research and mapping projects to identify top legal talent across various practice areas and jurisdictions. You will utilize multiple search methodologies to build detailed market intelligence and develop talent pools for challenging search assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage sophisticated search projects using LinkedIn Recruiter, identifying and engaging with qualified legal professionals
  • Conduct extensive market mapping exercises to understand talent distribution across firms and sectors
  • Execute targeted headhunting campaigns for specialist and senior legal roles
  • Engage in strategic cold calling to approach and qualify potential candidates
  • Utilize specialist legal recruitment platforms including Pirical and Atlas for market intelligence and candidate identification
  • Maintain detailed records of potential candidates, market intelligence, and search activities
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential candidates through various communication channels
  • Essential Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable understanding of the legal sector, including different practice areas and the structure of law firms
  • Previous experience in legal recruitment research or a background in legal practice
  • Proficiency in various research methodologies, including boolean search techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, and legal databases
  • Experience with Pirical, Atlas, or similar legal recruitment platforms
  • Proven track record in successful headhunting and cold calling of candidates
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile and present complex market intelligence
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with legal professionals at all levels
  • Experience with candidate mapping and talent pool development
