Legal Researcher
CS Global Partners is looking to hire a new member of its Legal & Policy Advisory Team. CS Global Partners is a leading international investor immigration advisory firm specialising in citizenship by investment. It advises governments across the globe on the legal structure of their programmes - focusing on compliance, legal frameworks, legal policy, and global promotion to ensure the sustainability of their citizenship by investment programmes.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities
- Provide legal and administrative support to the CEO and Legal Advisory Team.
- Provide legal research and opinions on residency and citizenship programmes,
- Provide client support on legal aspects relevant to residence and citizenship programmes,
- Provide legal advice on the interpretation of legal instruments, legislation, rules, and policies.
- Draft reports, legal memoranda, commentaries and prepare presentation and training materials within required deadlines
- Analyse bills or draft regulations and present commentary and propose improvements
- Draft legal correspondence with appropriate tone
- Hold a solid understanding of the fundamentals of common law legal systems, including the interaction of constitutions, acts, regulations, guidance, and policies.
- Work collaboratively with the marketing and digital design teams to conduct legal reviews of print and digital marketing materials to ensure legal and factual accuracy
- Keeping abreast of Investor Immigration industry news and providing weekly updates to the wider organisation
- Work with our Special Reports team to compile our annual World Citizenship Report
Essential Skills/Experience
- A degree from an accredited school of law in a Common Law jurisdiction
- Understand the fundamentals of common law legal systems, including the interaction of constitutions, acts, regulations, guidance, and policies
- Outstanding command of written and spoken English with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to interact confidently with other stakeholders via email correspondence and telephone
- You should be well-informed, a fast learner, and be able to hit the ground running
- You will be flexible in your approach to working and can effectively multitask, juggling several duties simultaneously
- You will be competent in using standard Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
- Additional language skills would be of benefit
Successful applicants will be required to sit for one or more interviews, where their reading and writing abilities will be tested, including their ability to understand and interpret legislation.
