We have over 170 employees that we are proud to have represent us, operating from our offices in Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, and Glasgow. As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our team by recruiting 3-4 postgraduate (final year) engineers, to be based in our Stockport office.


Please note you must be a final year masters degree student expected to graduate in the summer of 2025 to be considered for this role. Assessment day interviews will take place in Stockport - late November 2024.


If successful you would join us in September 2025 and will be trained in a structured development programme, on the job, by recognised engineering leaders from within our industry. You will learn about the different aspects of capital project development and be encouraged to begin to work towards chartered status with your relevant engineering institution.


We are looking for:


· An expected 2.1 (or above) integrated master’s degree in a mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or chemical engineering discipline;

· ‘A’-grades at A-Level (or IB equivalent) in mathematics plus two science subjects; and

· be in your final year now and expect to graduate in the summer of 2025.


We are also looking for the following personal attributes and gained skills:


  • effective communication skills
  • an outgoing, tenacious, and curious personality
  • ideally a year in industry or summer placement(s) in an applicable renewable energy supplier, plant operator, or consultancy business;
  • prior experience with Microsoft Office/365 and particularly advanced Excel skills
  • excellent command of written English (report writing skills)
  • some understanding of health and safety at work
  • the ability to evaluate, explain and simplify complex technical issues to non-technical individuals
  • have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we cannot sponsor work visas.
  • clean full driving licence
  • willing to travel for business reasons in the UK, ROI and wider EU.
