Postgraduate Programme Administrator - UOD1721

We are recruiting for a [TJ_3(Postgraduate Programme Administrator)] within our Postgraduate Professional Services Team, to administer the delivery of our postgraduate courses in the School of Medicine. This is a permanent contract.

You will be undertaking fundamental administrative duties relating to the planning, co-ordination and delivery of the postgraduate programmes with the school. Working in a supportive and agile team, you will be committed to providing the best educational experience to all students from enquiry to Graduation. We use standard operating procedures and full training will be given.

Based in Ninewells Hospital, one of Europe's largest teaching hospitals, the School of Medicine provides outstanding medical education and training supported by world class research facilities.

Your priorities will include:

  • Administrative tasks supporting the complete academic journey
  • Responding to, and resolving enquiries and programme related queries
  • Maintenance of student records and systems in line with Learning and Teaching and Quality Academic Standards
  • Updating and maintaining standard operating procedures

Who we're looking for:

  • An administrative qualification or administrative experience
  • IT skills with knowledge and experience using Microsoft packages
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to process and collate information accurately
  • A self-motivated, proactive team player who can also work on their own initiative
  • Good organisational skills with an ability to be flexible to new and changing demands
