Job Title: Research Integrity Assistant
Location: London, hybrid working
About Us: We are a leading recruitment agency, dedicated to connecting talented professionals with top-tier organizations. We are currently seeking a Research Integrity Assistant to join our client's team and work across a variety of STM journals.
They are looking for someone with the below experience:
Looking for Biomedical sciences experience
5-10 years research experience
Preferably PH.D or lots of working experience
Sales culture, cloning PCR (Essential), Gene coding etc
Animal/Human studies are preferred but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to drive research integrity investigations.
- Check articles for integrity of authorship, content, data, and key ethics statements.
- Assist the ethics team with contacting authors and assessing files requested from authors.
- Identify experts to provide advice on specific articles when required.
- Work with the ethics and editorial teams on organizing post-publication notices.
- Handle confidential information confidently and sensitively, considering legal and ethical issues.
What We Are Looking For:
- Research background in a relevant discipline.
- Editorial experience in assessing scientific manuscripts for quality and integrity of content.
- Familiarity with image detection tools.
- Strong understanding of various research methods and practices.
- Awareness of global research and publishing ethics issues.
- Awareness of required journal editorial standards.
- Experience in project management.
- Strong numerical and verbal reasoning skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
