An opportunity has become available to join our dynamic team. This is pivotal role in Research Governance, responsible for reviewing and setting up hosted studies. The post holder will be expert in research governance and sound knowledge of clinical research management. The post holder will be a member of the research management team, responsible for planning, co-ordinating, developing and delivering of a high-quality care research service across Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust in accordance with the UK Framework for Health & Social Care, and for clinical trials in accordance with the International Conference on Harmonisation – Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines. You will demonstrate strong leadership qualities that constantly reinforce the Trust values and beliefs.
Main duties of the job
The research manager provides expert research advice and support both within and outside of the Trust, including ensure that the Trust key performance indicators are met for your portfolio of research. Act as the lead specialist for the NHS confirmation of capacity (Trust R&D approval) process providing detailed advice to other specialists and non-specialists. You will support all aspects of research delivery from feasibility, study set up, conduct of the research project and study close down.
