Ca’ Foscari is offering a position of tenure-track researcher in Business Administration, Accounting & Performance Measurement.

The candidate is expected to contribute to the development of the research and teaching activities of the Department of Management, to be directly involved in its institutional, organizational and educational activities, and to actively seek national and international research funding.

Research commitment:

The candidate will carry out research activities in Business Administration, Accounting and Performance Measurement also within the new area called “Intelligenza Analitica per il Management” (Analytics In Management & Society - AIMS).

Specifically, the candidate will be required to analyze the impact of the new digital technologies on firms and business administration.

Candidates will be requested to carry out activities centred around the analysis of the links between organizational settings and the wider transformations implied by the ongoing digital revolution, approaching it from a multidisciplinary perspective spanning different methodologies, both quantitative (inferential models, field experiments, network analysis etc.) and qualitative (single and multiple case studies, ethnographic research etc.), with particular attention to the most recent techniques (supervised and unsupervised machine learning, big data exploration etc.).

Teaching commitment:

Courses on Business administration and accounting studies, also including impact of digital technologies on business administration. Courses may change depending on the teaching needs of the school.

The position is at the VSM Venice School of Management, whose major fields of activity include innovation, entrepreneurship, international management and creativity. The faculty in engaged in blending teaching and research in close contact with stakeholders from the economic, institutional and professional areas, while also focusing on sustainability and responsible development issues for the wellbeing of future generations.
