Lecturer or Teaching Fellow in Engineering Design
The School of
Engineering is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer or Teaching Fellow who will make an important contribution to our teaching and learning provision in the subject areas of mechanical engineering design and product design engineering.The school has a diverse body of students at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and we have an opportunity for a new member to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for an academic or experienced industry practitioner to take on an exciting role and to develop a career shaping the next generation of professional engineers.
We wish to appoint an individual who can teach from Level 3 through to Level 7. Using both their subject expertise and their experience in a research or industry environment, the successful candidate will engage and inspire our students.
The successful candidate will be committed to ensuring an outstanding student experience and will:
Research and scholarship are core activities within the School of Engineering. The appointed person will be encouraged and supported to sustain and develop their research and scholarship. Candidates will hold an honours degree or postgraduate degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
