Public Engagement with Research Manager
Are you passionate about bridging the gap between academic research and the public?
Manchester Metropolitan University Library & Cultural Services is seeking a dynamic and innovative Public Engagement with Research Manager to join our Open Research team. In this newly created position, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of public engagement, promoting the university's research to diverse audiences, and driving positive change.

You will join a passionate and empowered team (we are small but mighty!), and an innovative and evolving library service. 2024-25 is an excellent time to join us, as we prepare for our Library Transformation Programme (LTP) and look ahead to a and reimagined service.
It is also an exciting time for research; with excellent REF results and an effective and impactful , we are driving institutional change in open research and research culture.

Hybrid working is offered for this role, where you will be able to work a proportion of time on campus and a proportion remotely. We recognise the benefits and importance of an environment that supports flexible working and are open to conversations throughout the application process.
