Ca’ Foscari is looking for a researcher of Statistics capable of inspiring students to become game-changers in their own fields and to make a genuine difference in the world. 

The scientific commitment will focus on aspects of methodology and statistical modeling, as well as on the application of statistical methods in particular to environmental and IT disciplines.

The teaching activity will focus on courses of Statistics, mainly in bachelor and master's degree programs relating to environmental and IT disciplines provided by the Department of Environmental Sciences, Informatics and Statistics, such as

1) Statistics for language sciences (Scienze del Linguaggio)

2) Dati e conoscenza (Minor Computer and Data Science)

The position is at the Department of Environmental Sciences, Informatics and Statistics. 

The Department is engaged in multidisciplinary research, carried out by brilliant researchers in the fields of environmental systems analysis, management and modelization of environmental and informatic systems, climate studies, complexity, preservation of cultural heritage and sustainability.
